Mingle Monday Blog Hop!

Welcome to Mingle Monday!
I'm so sorry we had to skip Mingle Monday last week due to my ridiculous week-long illness!

I'm sure you're all just dying to get your name out there and blog hop... am I right?

Well, so far I am having an absolutely stellar morning. I've met with the CEO and cancer liason physicians of a major healthcare system and my presentation went better than I could have ever hoped for. On cloud nine for sure!

How'd your day going? Hopefully if it's less than stellar, we can fix that ASAP and give you a reason to smile! :)

{ Let's get hoppin'! }

    Answer to Question:

My sweet BF made me smile this weekend. He is just so unbelievably sweet and giving. He makes me laugh so hard my side hurts and all around just treats me like a princess. We had a blast going home to see my family this last weekend! :)

  5. Hey Meg!! It's been a few weeks since I've mingled but I'm very glad I'm back! :) Today I visited Cornflake Dreams and Grits and Smiles...and I love both!

Cornflake Dreams is just lovely and I can tell I'm really going to enjoy keeping up with her wedding plans!

I'm excited about keeping Grits and Smiles on my blogroll and following her as she goes from Alabama to New York and then the Bahamas for 3 months...jealous!!

I smiled as I enjoyed a good baseball game in the warm sun...spring is wonderful!! :)

  7. I visited Laugh Until Your Cheeks hurt where she posted some very humorous commentary on her date night in with her hubby (and some yummy sounding casserole)! I will need to add that to my list of recipes to try.

I also visited The Sweet Life where she talked about a bunch of things, but Harry Potter and the Emily Giffin book were the ones that stood out to me!

**Spending some quality Daddy Daughter time with my dad this weekend made me smile!

  9. The first blog I visited was Laugh Until Your Cheeks hurt... I loved reading about her date night with her husband and I'm thinking of trying the recipe she described.

I also visited Sinfully Delicious and read her post about giving up coffee for lent. She is much stronger than I am, but I can sympathize with how bad those withdrawal feelings are!!!

What made me smile this weekend: spending a weekend in our own house (no traveling for once), as well as visits from my mother in law, brother in laws and sister in law!

  10. Hello all!

First I stopped by Going the Distance. She has a really cute blog design + an absolutely amazing (and easy!) sounding recipe!!

Then I went to Adventure's in Amber-land! It sounds like she had a really good weekend and had a great first date! Here's hoping it starts something good!

Something that made me smile this weekend: just spending time with my fiance'. I don't get to spend that much time with him during the week, so getting alone time where we're not doing school work is awesome!

  14. Hey Meg, glad you are feeling better! Being sick is no fun. This weekend my silly puppy dog made my smile. She is a goofball, and so squishy looking you just want to grab her cheeks and talk baby talk to her!

I visited afterburners and apron strings, and I liked her post about wanting to be a teacher, and the subsequent hoops she is having to jump through now.

Then I checked out Adventures of a Self-proclaimed princess, she is too cute, can't wait to read more.

I went above and beyond ,stopping at a 3rd blog to visit Greer's Gossip--she is preparing for a national board thing, and I definitely wouldn't want that kind of stress in my life!

  15. What made me smile this weekend?

My boyfriend and I are trying to work things out before officially putting the label of being in a relationship back on Facebook, we went out and later he told me that sometimes he takes me for granted and promised to never do that again. Plus he's been preparing things for me since I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled and he wants to look after me while I recover.. Def makes me smile.

Stopped by Poodleism, I'll go check out more later!

  16. Congrats on a good presentation!

Hmm what made me smile today, has got to be the fact that I am going from freelancing to Perm at my job and won't have to worry about getting the boot at any given time!

I stopped by AOG and loved her NAIL POLISH section my new addiction!!!!!

And For The Women had me cracking up, she wasn't lying with that post on TOM lol

Loved Mingle Monday nice way to check out other bloggers!!!

  24. So glad you're feeling better! One kind of sick day is fun. A week of legit and unfun sickness is not so great.

I visited cornflake dreams and fell a little bit in love. She's getting ready for her wedding and showed off some location photos. Love her clean and creative design!

Also headed over to Happy Girls are the Prettiest Girls. Crazy jealous of her current situation (couch. laptop. home.) Clicking through just a few posts made me feel so familiar. I'm definitely following!

  25. Today I checkout out Love, Julie. Her What I Wish I Was Wearing Wednesday seems like a really cute blog series. The outfit she picked out last Wednesday was so cute!

I also checked out Every Mile a Memory. Her little family is so cute! And she's a military spouse blogger & after talking with a bunch of Army wives over spring break at Fort Campbell, I have a renewed respect for them!

What made me smile this weekend was thinking back to last week. I spent Spring Break in Clarksville & Nashville, Tennessee with friends. I completed one of my lifelong dreams by standing in the circle onstage at the Grand Ole Opry! I want to move down to Nashville now! That's how much I loved everything about the city!

  26. I visited Apples Falling - this girl just got an exciting, travel-filled promotion!
