Dinner Date... Help!

Bonjour lovelies!
This little blog post installment is coming to you live from my fabulous Droid phone (thank you, Verizon!). I am heading to the state capitol today with a mafia of staff and volunteers to lobby for smoke-free laws to be passed and advocating for cancer patients' needs. Should be a great and very productive time!

After a long day of lobbying, I will be looking forward to a date with my favorite hunk (seriously underrated word by the way). I've been missing that boy so much, so I'm pretty excited to have a low-key evening at my place. We love cooking together, so I'm looking forward to the most amazing dinner ever.

The only problem is... I have no idea what to make!!

This is where you come in! I need a decently healthy meat dish, side, and perhaps a yummy dessert? Pretty please help me out... recipes, recommendations, and links appreciated!

Gotta wow my Love, right?! ;)

  2. Exciting!! I just posted this recipe the other day for this dessert - it's so easy but you need to make it about 3 hours ahead of time. If you can't do it tonight - save it for later - it's seriously amazing!

  3. check out the menu mama's site...her Cavity Maker Chocolate cake is out of this world. It is so moist, and so easy to make. I have made it three times now, and it just gets better. www.themenumama.com

  8. You go girl for lobbying about something so important!

I make this quick recipe for JT when I'm in a rush and its super tasty.
    Apricot chicken

I cut 2 peppers and an onion and put it into a pan. Then I take the chicken cutlets and throw them into the mix. I pour a jar of apricot jam and a can tomato sauce over the chicken and let it cook for 45 minutes to an hour on 350.

    Bon a petite.
