Mingle Monday Blog Link-Up!

Mornin' y'all!

How's everyone feeling on this fine Monday? Although the weekend never quite feels long enough, I was thankful to wake up at 5am feeling rested, happy, and in the right mindset to conquer the day. Are you there yet? Coffee helps! ;)

I hope each of you had a great weekend. Who did something fun? Pool time? Is anyone else a kid at heart and went to see Minions over the weekend? Not that I did that or anything...

Anyway, glad you're here, glad you're you. Thanks for showing up, spreading the word, leaving a comment, and generally making Mondays more awesome! Are you on Instagram? I hope you will keep up with me on the go @life_of_meg - it's my favorite social media and I love connecting with people!

  1. Spring is my favorite! Things start to bloom, and the weather is nice (no humidity)...the promise of Summer is around the corner. It's my absolute favorite!

  2. FALL - all the way! Cooler temps, vibrant colors, comfort food and activities outdoors where one is not sweating. And it kicks off the holidays!

  3. I'm not *quite* ready for Monday, but then again I never am. Too late though! We went to the Royals game this weekend, which was fun but HOT. We didn't stay the whole time (we brought the little one--hard to last the whole 9 innings with him!) but what a game!
My favorite season is spring! I love the weather, the flowers, the colors, oh, and my birthday is in April :)

  4. Winter! I live in Florida and it's too hot here every season, except winter. Of course it's more like fall weather for us in the winter, but def winter! Thanks for hosting and have a great week!

  5. It's too hard to choose! I love summer best for the weather. Love fall best for the colors, flavors and clothes and love late Fall/winter ONLY for the holidays!

  6. New reader here! So happy to have found this link up! ;) I'm a big fan of spring. I'm an April baby, so of course I'm going to love the season that my birthday falls under, but I also enjoy seeing everything come alive again after the cold, darker months of winter!

  7. Spring is my favorite season because I love to watch everything come to life!

  8. It's easier for me to pick my least fave..winter! So many things I love about both fall and spring and then summer is just time to be a little lazier than usual. Fall might have to win just because 5 out of 6 of us have fall birthdays!

Spring is my favorite season. After a cold winter, bare trees, no flowers and brown grass, I love seeing the flowers bloom, the leaves pop on the trees and the weather warming.

But my favorite season for food is defiantly Fall. Pumpkins, soups, apples, yum!

I definitely love summer the best - beach, barbecues, swims, warmth, mangoes! Love it!

  12. Well that's a great reason to love summer - happy belated birthday, lady!! :)

  13. Nothing is better for my pummeled soul after a long winter than for temps to warm up, being able to run outside, and seeing daffodils peek through! ;)

  14. Yes, yes, yes! You are my kind of seasonal soulmate... fall is incredible! Brisk Saturday mornings, long strolls through gorgeous tree lined parks, pumpkins, seasonal food... I love all of it!

  15. What a fun weekend, Shea! You are brave to have gotten out in the heat. I laid by my fan and watched an embarrassing amount of TV! ;) Spring is so gorgeous! I'm a fall gal myself, but spring is just so lovely after a rough winter!

  16. Holy smokes... we have a winter gal on our hands! Winters here in KC are frigid and seemingly unbearable at times, but if it was like fall weather for winter... now I could get behind that concept!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. You're an all-season kind of gal, and I like that! But I definitely agree with you about the fall! I seriously can't get enough of everything fall and it kicks off the holiday season - win/win!
