  1. I don't know if it's "weird" but I have a friend who named her boys "Nugent" and "Zeppelin". I mean, that's hardcore. HAHAHAHAHA!

  2. One of my cousin's name is Blaze McCoy!

  3. Its not weird, persay, but I have friends that are using old fashion names more, like Gus is the most recent one. Then I have friends on the other side of the spectrum all naming their babies with some form of Addison and Emory (Emrie).

  4. Living in the Memphis area, I definitely hear a lot of ghetto names! haha One that sticks out most recently is Pornsettia. Nice!

  5. Hmmmm...I would say Ridley Lincoln (first, middle). Just makes me think of the movie director.

  6. That's a good question. We've had a lot of friends lately using very simple, old names...like John, Paul which has kind of surprised us given all the unique names that have been floating around!

  7. A girl I work with is about to name her baby Cabel. It's pronounced like "CABLE". I think its 100% made up.

  8. That's a hard one! It's not really weird, but I was working at a camp one week a summer or two ago, and there were like 3 Jasmines.

  9. Tough one, all the weird baby names I know are from celebrities. I'm beginning to think it's actually a law that they probably have to follow! no one can beat them...

  10. tough! I got blessed with the middle name of Templeton. lol I've heard of 3 skylars in the last year, and recently met a Kale.

  11. I used to baby sit two kids: Tevah (tay-vah) and Treare (tray-air)... Original, no?

  12. My old orchestra director named his baby North. Not too crazy, but definitely not a name I've ever heard of!

  13. I haven't really heard any weird baby names from my friends.

  14. My friends who are having sons are naming them odd names (IMO)- Oscar, August, Monty and Grover.

  15. My sister has an affinity for weird baby names. I won't share, for fear of being caught ratting her out, but I always wonder how it will pan out when my niece starts school. Non-common names are great, but some people like to push the limits of "unique". Do they think about what their kids will have to write and spell for the rest of their lives?

  16. My oldest knows a girl named Princess. I think that's odd as an actual name lol

  17. For some reason my blog isn't showing up in the linky even though it says I entered it...?

  18. Girlfriend, I've got a phone book of them... I teach. My personal fave is Godswill. I always smile after calling on him, I can't help it :)

  19. One of the most unusual names I've heard is Eragon. Not sure if I spelled that right! Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com

  20. Justin Case. Makes me giggle everytime.

  21. Twins: Orangejello and Lemonjello (o-ran-gello and Li-mon-gello...they sound like Michaelangelo)

  22. Names are getting weirder and weirder I tell ya...not even unique anymore..just plan strange. But I think Ace, Trevyn, and Cash have to be the most "unique" names I have heard lately that are not "celebrity".

  23. I would like to share baby names with you here. Babynology.com is a single website of baby names, where you can get unique names for boy and girl with meaning and origin and Etymology. I think your article is unique.
