Charleston Recommendations Needed

I'm looking for some expert advice on where to wine, dine, and shop in Charleston, South Carolina, and I knew you guys could help a sister out!

My bestie, Lindsey, is heading there in two weeks for an all-expenses paid trip, thanks to her awesome Scentsy business. So, I promised Linds that I would consult my knowledgeable panel of experts (that's you!).

Where should she go?
What are the must visit spots?

    1. I second Magnolias. If she has never tried a fried green tomato - that is the place to try it! :-)

folly is the party beach but isle of palms is the prettiest... sullivan's island is nice too but you have to walk far to reach the ocean (a lot of sand)
i agree with hannah, the bars on shem creek are fun
my favorite restaurant was the mustard seed
go to one of the many plantations

  7. Reds on Shem Creek. Also, Fleet Landing down on the battery is also a great place to eat. I love the market area and you should definitely consider a historic tour on horse drawn carriage. Yeah, it's kind of touristy, but worth it to do it once. :) Also, if you're into ghost stuff, the haunted ghost walks are cool too!

  9. If your friend likes to dance, The Market Place Pavilion Rooftop is awesome. You can see a good amount of downtown Charleston from the roof. When we were there, there was a deejay playing that latest hip and hip music. We had an amazing time!
