Holy Paperwork, is it Friday Yet?

Umm, is anyone else just d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g today, or is it just me? I mean seriously, what is my problem? Maybe it is a lack of my standard two cup of joe morning, or the ginormous mound of paperwork staring at me on my desk, but gee whiz...

Feeling a little like this today:



Well, in order to add a little energy and cheer to my day (and hopefully to yours), I have compiled a list of 10 reasons why today is fabulous:


1) NCAA tourney starts today in the big KC - GO POKES!

2) It is exactly one week until St. Patty's Day (meaning green beer)

3) Tonight's forecast: rain! I. Love. Rain.

4) I opened my work e-mail this morning to find a personal e-mail from my best friend, Lo, and smiled. The e-mail title: "I hear frozen grapes are pretty good."

5) Exactly 24 days until my snooze button and endless piles of sugar... I mean Easter.

6) It is officially daylight savings time this Saturday, which means more post-work play time for yours truly.

7) At my weekly weigh-in today, I found that I've lost a grand total of almost 5 lbs since I started two weeks ago. YES! HELLO CUTE BIKINI!

8) As of March 1, 2010, I now have 21 vacation days that I am free to take... time to relax!

9) I found $20 in the pocket of one of my coats. I love being forgetful, especially on days like today!

10) My totally rad, super hip parents (and hopefulyl my brother) are coming to visit from Sunday to Wednesday and I could not be more excited to have a good time!!


Well, all of this fabulous talk has forced me to retreat to my happy place, where I will be for the rest of my stress-free afternoon...
