Gratitude Lately

Lately I'm thankful for secnic walks to the mailbox.

For front door surprises that turn into morning chirping a nest full of feathers.

For weekends spent with this handsome devil and how much our pup loves her daddy.

For cabin weekends full of sunsets and time spent around the table with the ones we love most.

For a thoughtful bestie who creates amazing mail days.

For finding hidden gems tucked into the deepest corner of Home Depot that make my porch happy.

For sister dates, cheersing and wine of the month club.

For a beast that is 10% bark and 90% cuddles.

For quiet patio mornings and tasty smoothie bowls.
And good books that makes me thankful to do life with my tribe.

Lately I've been thankful for this guy, in all his freckly glory, and how hard he works every single day to bring home the bacon.

For Harry Potter at the symphony, good views, and unleashing my inner Gryffindor nerd.

For high majestic ceilings that make me want to lay on the floor in the middle of the train station.

For neighborhood ice cream shops and how they remind us that summer's a'coming!

For zoo days with these party animals (...and the live penguin cam for work days I wish I was zoo-ing.)

For colorful grocery store finds that lift my Monday blues.

For sisters who make even better besties.

For rainy days and awesome playlists.

For nights out on the town and really pathetic selfie attempts.

For walks with views.

For noshing on the best Mexi food in town.

And for boozy family dates that include grapefruit champagne cocktails

For fresh blooms in thrifted mason jars.

For date nights driving with the windows down and spontaneous ice cream stops.

For snuggly Beasts and the unconditional love they provide.

For time at the family cabin that reminds me to breathe and renews my tired spirit.
