What a battle. Especially in the days of smart phones and social media at our fingertips.
I so desperately needed to be reminded that being present is far more beautiful and memorable than any Instagram photo ever will be.

ReplyDeleteI am definitely guilty and I DO realize it. I do try not to use my phone as much as I used to for this specific reason, but we are definitely caught in that wave. The last few concerts and events I've went to, I actually just sat there and enjoyed it without any photographs to 'prove it'.

ReplyDeleteWow that was convicting. Especially as bloggers we can so easily get sucked into checking our phones every minute on social media. Never ending cycle. Time to put away the phone for awhile and live life- real life. thanks for the reminder
