Save the Dates + Wedding Update

A few of you sweet thangs have been checking in on me and asking how wedding planning is going. Well, aren't you dears! I figured I would fill in all of you curious friends as I share our save the date postcards!

I have been working with the fabulous D.H. Fitzgerald Designs on Etsy to create our very own version of their State Save the Dates.

I absolutely love modern, funky designs! Although I think satin ribbon, scripty font, and pearl sheen invites are very pretty, they are just not "us".

So we are breaking out the Crate & Barrel-esque design in mustard yellow (my fave color... obvi) and charcoal... I love them!

Although they are still a work in progress, and this is only one of the first drafts, I couldn't be more excited!

Here is a generic image of the back of the postcard. Fonts will be changing to match our design.

  8. So exciting! I can't believe how much you've already accomplished! My fiance and I are the same way about not doing the script/super fancy designs even though they're so beautiful sometimes.

I personally think Antigua would be a fabulous place to go for a honeymoon. I've been there on vacation and it was so, so amazing! Email me if you want any details about things to do there.

  9. Oh I love those!! They look kind of similar to ours-- I loved doing a postcard instead of card with envelope. Holy cow, girl-- you've gotten SO MUCH done so quickly!!

We're going to a Secrets resort in Jamaica (it was cheaper to fly there than a lot of other places). Wherever you go, I definitely recommend an all-inclusive!!
