Favorite Things Party - Help Needed!

Hey gal pals...

I need your help! Have you ever participated in a favorite things party?
If so, how many gifts were you asked to bring and what was your price range?

I am wanting to gather up the ladies for a FTP soon and can't decided on the quantity/price! I would love for everyone to get things they LOVE and not a whole bunch of little "junky" things they aren't excited about.

Will you help me out by chiming in below?

Also, what were some cute gift ideas or your personal favorites?

Desperate SOS!!

Alrighty ladies, I'm calling for an SOS - I need your help! I was so completely devastated to find out that my dear blog friend, Jen @ Life, Love, & Puppy Paws, who participated in my Fall Frenzy Blog Gift Swap spent $30+ to send a care package to her swap buddy... and then never heard from her again.

This is just not okay in my book.

It honestly makes me sick to my stomach and breaks my heart. Please don't take advantage of my blog opportunities, and more importantly don't take advantage of my blog friends!

Jen and I have both reached out to that individual in several different ways and have not heard back once. So now it's time to ask for some help. I could not imagine sweet little Jen spending all of that time and money to get nice, quality gifts to send and get nothing in return. So disappointing.

Jen deserves the world.

Let's help her feel special.

So, I am organizing a cheer effort! In order to make sure she generously receives as much as she put into her gift, I am personally going to send her a surprise in the mail today!

...is anyone else interested in possibly sending her a few surprises?! It could be $5 worth even! Candy, cards, candles, fun girly things.

Pretty My Office: { Please Help }

Happy Friday to you! I am welcoming the weekend with open arms, that's for darn sure! My life feels a tad bit cluttered and disorganized lately and it's driving me nuts! I am dedicating this weekend to purging unnecessary clutter and regaining my sanity.


{ Case in point: My office }

As many of you know, I am a corporate girl living in a big girl's world. With the many projects and deadlines that have been going on lately, I feel like it's finally time to get organized and less boring!

I have a big beautiful office on the second floor of a historic downtown building in lovely Kansas City. I have a wrap around desk {that I love} with an attached bookcase and storage shelves. I also have this massive fabric covered bulletin board between my desk and shelves.

I feel very blessed to have an office with such amazing features, but it's quite blah and needs the MEGnificent touch. Ever since our office relocated to the gorgeous downtown area last spring {yes, it's been neglected that long}, I haven't taken the time to beautify my space. So... now is the time!

So, as always, I need your expert opinion! If you have prettied up your office, where did you get your ideas/inspiration from, and where did you buy your decor/organizers/etc.?

DIY {do-it-yourself} cheap ideas are gladly welcomed! For the sake of my sanity... please help me!
