  2. I hate to hear you were feeling bad. The weekend is the worst time to feel under the weather. But get some rest girlfriend and down the vitamin C!

  3. Hope you feel better soon!! I always try to take something wit pseudo-ephedrine in it when I first start to feel like my nose is running because thats the only thing that seems to help stop it. And my mom swears by saline nasal spray too. Otherwise just lots of rest and liquids!

Rest & hydrate! Always better if you have a sympathetic man around that can wait on you hand and foot!

I hope you're feeling better! I played nurse wife to my sick husband all last week. My only "remedies" I seem to stick to is Lipton soup, green tea, and lots of sleep with the help of NyQuil lol.

  11. I don't have the excuse of being under the weather, but I was in my yoga pants for most of the weekend!! Soups and allergy medicine usually works well for me when I'm just starting to feel icky. Otherwise, I send the husband to the store for princess spaghettio's and Hello Kitty Popsicles! -Dorrie @ Bear Den Plantation

  16. I've recently jumped onto the essential oils bandwagon, so I'm obsessed with Thieves! When I feel like my throat is starting to get scratchy or my nose is stuffy, I put Thieves in my diffuser, and overnight I feel better! It's seriously amazing!!

PS: My title was wonky, its supposed to be "A new tradition"... is it possible to change? If not, no biggie.. I will just pretend it's slang for something really thought provoking. haha :)
