Mingle Monday Blog Hop

Good morning, friends!
Happy week before Christmas to you - who's excited?! One thing you may not know about me is Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year. In fact, I would be happy if it was Christmas every day! :)

With a big snow storm rolling into Kansas City tonight and Wichita tomorrow, we may have a very beautiful white Christmas no matter where I'll be!

My little sister and one of her best friends are heading up to KC today to come spend time with metoday, and I'm sooo excited to see them! They're going to shop til they drop, then we're going to a Christmas party before they head out tomorrow morning to beat the snow storm.

I'm also looking forward a fabulous Christmas date with Adam tomorrow. Excited to go out to dinner at one of our new favorite places and then exchange presents. Bonus? It's going to be snowing big fluffy snowflakes... how romantic! :)

Anyway, enough about me, shall we get this party started? This will be the last Mingle Monday of 2011, and we will start up again in 2012! ...so let's go out with a BANG!

{ Many thanks! }

  7. My travel plans for Christmas have already started! I headed back to my Mum's over the weekend to relax for the week, then we're off to my Dad's for Christmas eve, day and Boxing day. Then we'll be heading back to my Mum's for the Crimbo Limbo and New Year :) Busy but cool.

    I went by starfish - congratulations on your new job! Glad you are enjoying it :)

    Plus, I am jealous of the gingerbread house on Life of Love. It's inspired me to make my own gingerbread tomorrow.

  8. Hello Meg! Don't really have major plans for Christmas. As a tradition on Christmas Eve we always watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" which is my favorite holiday movie. Then on Christmas day we have a brunch with my brother and SIL and then dinner with other friends!

    Today I visited "Starfish" and it's good to hear she got a new job and looks like she loves it.

    Also I visited Jen @ CashCowan and she had a great party Birthday/Holiday one.

    Have a great week and thanks for another edition of Mingle Monday :)

  21. I traveled from Alaska to PA this past weekend. Quite the trip! It's nice to be out of the last frontier, if only for a couple of weeks.

    Poodleism talked about Christmas past; I can definitely relate to some of those pictures!
    Adventures of the K Family writes about holiday travel. I see travel as so completely stressful, but I agree with her. I'm always, always on board for leaving AK for awhile!
