Welcome to a short work week, friends!
I am working Monday, Tuesday and a half day on Wednesday (so excited!). Everyone have a great weekend? Any big news? Fun plans?

My birthday weekend was absolutely perfect! I enjoyed a nice sushi dinner out with all my friends, ate copious amounts of food/sweets (**see weekly question** haha), went to the cabin, and enjoyed a relaxing time with BF/friends/fam! Bday recap coming tomorrow! Meanwhile... shall we get to it?

    Now, to your question: I love Zumba DVD's because they are fun and even though it's an exercise feels more just like dancing!

    My go to workout DVD is the 30 Day Shred. Quick and intense! :)

    Loved the fashion and makeup over at Its Em! I should probaly hang around there more as my fashion sense is severely lacking. Severely.

    Also loved the pretty pots project over at Such life! I love getting idea for new crafty things to do! :)

  5. Not really a work out DVD person - but lately I've been watching TV shows while doing my yoga. Usually it's reruns of The Wonder Years or Mad Men, or Ellen

  6. I'm not a huge DVD fan, but Netflix Instant has good ones from Crunch to choose from. And I do always love me some Jillian Michaels.

    I usually prefer the gym or a class because I don't do well working out at home. I give up more easily.

    I love P90X. But you kinda have to do the whole week to get a full body workout...unless you do the Yoga X video. It's really intense yoga, but I've never felt as good as I do when it's over. So calm and stretched and amazing.

    Other than the P90X (and this isn't a joke) Kim Kardashian's workout videos really are great. The trainer that does the videos (can't remember her name) is awesome and any time you have to kick or punch, you can just pretend Kim is your punching bag. Works wonders.

    I have a yoga DVD that I bought at Target that I love... not really an awesome "workout," but great conditioning/flexibility stuff!

    I just stopped by Katie's blog (the Amazing in the Ordinary)... I saw there was another Katie linked up so of course I had to go there! I was so impressed that she's gotten through five weeks of Couch to 5K! That's dedication, y'all!

    I also went to Casey's blog (Stress Case)... she shared a super-yummy-looking fruit salad recipe that I'm going to have to try, and we share a love of green bean casserole (who doesn't?).

  13. I've never used a workout DVD, so I'm interested in these responses too. I think it would help me to sort out my exercise regime which has hit an all-time low.

    i checked out It's Em and I share her love of Dotty Ps! I'm so getting the cream dress next time I'm passing.

    I also checked out Stress Case and her fruit salad looks lovely. Plus, she has a very cute blog design which I love :)

    I also took a look at bowling adventures who had some great shots of an outdoor wedding.

    I love any yoga or balance ball workout dvds! Balance balls don't make you feel like you worked out, but you feel it the next day!

I love Jillian Michaels Power Yoga, I'm a MAJOR Tracy Anderson girl...the mat workout is the BEST and I also love physics 57....so challenging. Promise to check out some blogs tomorrow...off to bed...been a very long day!

    as for workout dvds, im a big fan of zumba, but I agree with faye, ive heard awesome things about p90x, its just a huge commitement

  21. My husband tries to get me to do p90x when I start complaining about being out of shape. I don't last more than 5 minutes because I don't like being told how to do sit-ups! I've only ever had one dvd and it is a pilates one. I used it all through college. But now, I go to the occasional class at the gym, steal the moves, and just do it all at home. Good luck!

  24. I really love the Comcast OnDemand workouts. They switch them up all the time, and it's super convenient to be able to pull it up without having an actual DVD or anything, and they are FREE!

    I visited Kristins Knook -- she has an awesome recipe for pumpkin ice cream cake that made my mouth water!
