Believe

Some days are just hard, and today is one of them.
You know, those days where you are at the end of your rope, feel a little defeated, and it's just discouraging. Those days are tough.

Today, my work stress mixed with life stress feels a little crushing and hard to deal with. My shoulders are heavy from carrying these burden, and today it's exhausting.

Do you ever have those days?
The days where you feel overwhelmed, and yet you don't know which way to go for resolve?

Even though the rainy days creep in, I know they are necessary to make the good days feel even better. The rain reminds us that although today is crummy, the sunshine will feel much sweeter on our face once the dark clouds clear.

If you're having one of those days too, don't give up, friends. Believe in yourself.
You will make it through.

Sometimes life is hard, but we have to sling to beauty and promise that hope brings. Tomorrow will be better, all you have to do is put one foot in front of the other and keep moving. One step at a time.

In the meantime, there is nothing that girly movies, puppy dog kisses, and a bite of chocolate can't fix, right? Right.

And maybe listening to this song on repeat.

Here's to better days ahead...

  1. Thinking about you today, sweet Meg. I would just LOVE to be able to come pick you up, take you for a little shopping date and then grab some coffee so we could talk. Keep your chin up, my dear. You are so much stronger than you think--and those hard days are going to come, but just know it's only going to make you stronger. Cliche, but true. I'm so proud of you and all the hard work you do--you are one amazing lady and I'm thankful to call you one of my friends!

  15. I know exactly what you mean about feeling defeated. I've felt that way on a number of fronts lately, and it's sooo tiring to worry and feel beaten by life. You're a strong woman who can get through anything, just give it time and give yourself some needed TLC. {hugs}

  16. Do you write this post for me? I am definitely having a day where the cracks are starting to show around my edges. I'm a mom, wife, and college senior...and yet I still doubt my ability to keep it together. Then I have to remind myself that I couldn't have made it this far without the will and ability to succeed. Your post definitely spoke to me...thank you!
