My boyfriend and I are more friendly with each other than anything. I know he likes to have a good time with me every once in a while without all the candles and mushy stuff. So I saw Game Wheels online and purchased one. I got a bunch of little questions I thought we'd both like to know about each other and little prizes to go along with them. It was totally cute and he really liked it, he still talks about it to this day.Mercedeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17409605185517019612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-25010269115905542102011-11-04T13:33:45.468-05:002011-11-04T13:33:45.468-05:00hey pretty girl, hope the date night went well!! Best cookbook ever is Essentials in Slowcooking from William Sonoma; I use it all the time. Figure out your meal tonight so you can whip it up tomorrow in the morning or at lunch.
Number 2: (I've always wanted to do this, but I don't know how realistic it is either) Find a big wall to project a favorite movie onto a wall with a bunch of pillows, blankets, and candles. It's cozy, laid back, and romantic. Don't forget the wine!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-41566213429097495132011-11-01T14:14:41.550-05:002011-11-01T14:14:41.550-05:00Planning dates can be so tough sometimes. Museum opening, art shows, street fairs, dance performances, wine tasting. Something that's out of the ordinary and usually they are low priced too!

xo Kels
Eat, Drink, Be a TouristKelsey Cunninghamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07615237663468174038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-60813584808827172022011-11-01T13:13:22.976-05:002011-11-01T13:13:22.976-05:00We had a living room picnic once when I was sick o...We had a living room picnic once when I was sick on our anniversary. He got takeout from a restaurant and we ate on a blanket on the living room floor and watched a movie. It was very sweet and lowkey :)

Also maybe a theme night? It could be as simple or elaborate as you wanted to make it. Like make an Italian dinner/go out to an Italian restaurant and watch a movie set in Italy. Something like that maybe?

I'm also the worst at planning creative dates, both my husband and I are...so usually our dates are really boring! :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16858194650810390591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-62423992142752103622011-11-01T12:05:11.320-05:002011-11-01T12:05:11.320-05:00Foam pits** that's what I get for commenting o...Foam pits** that's what I get for commenting on my phone!Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18164589484233067509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-64267059617456540222011-11-01T12:04:38.398-05:002011-11-01T12:04:38.398-05:00Haha did you read about our date night today on my...Haha did you read about our date night today on my blog? We have the most random dates. :) We do lots of living room dates, we frequent playgrounds, and I have a date night planned for us to go to a place where you jump on trampolines and jump into foam puts for an hour. Haha! Whatever you do will be fun!Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18164589484233067509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-66635230054433322532011-11-01T12:02:44.372-05:002011-11-01T12:02:44.372-05:00I grew up in Louisburg. :-) If you do go to the Ci...I grew up in Louisburg. :-) If you do go to the Cider Mill some time, check out the Sommerset winery too - just a couple miles down the road. And visit the Cedar Cove cat sanctuary in L-burg if you've never been there! Have you checked to see if the Red Barn Farm in Weston is open later? I haven't been...but I've heard it's similar to the Cider Mill.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4894403398174516387.post-88819104483773664862011-11-01T12:01:04.939-05:002011-11-01T12:01:04.939-05:00If both of you like wine, something my husband and...If both of you like wine, something my husband and I have been wanting to do was get some moderately priced wine (for us, under $20 lol), some nice bread (challah or the like), some cheese and meat, and just go to town. Maybe you can make that into a nice picnic meal, indoors or out. If he has a favorite candy bar/dessert, maybe you can bring that to surprise him. Just a few ideas :)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04359171971118766218noreply@blogger.com
